MARSHALL — After leading the Wiley College women’s basketball team to two victories last week, Brianna Tolliver wins her second Red River Athletic Conference Player of the Week award.

Tolliver is the first Lady Wildcat to win multiple awards in a single season since Danisha Shaw won three in the 2013-14 season. On Tuesday, Tolliver led the team with 18 points and nine rebounds. She hit eight of her 10 field goal attempts and contributed five assists to help the Lady Wildcats to a 94-66 victory over Dallas Christian College. She followed up that performance with 19 points, six rebounds and six assists in a 77-60 win over Dillard University on Thursday. For the week she shot 56.5 percent from the field.

Through six games, Tolliver is averaging 16.2 points per game which is fourth in the Red River Athletic Conference and ranks in the top 30 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. She is third in the conference with 4.2 assists per game, fourth with a 49.3 field goal percentage and tied for sixth with 12 steals.

The Lady Wildcats (2-4) host No. 3 Oklahoma City University on Wednesday.
