The Panola College Ponies had three players earn all-regional honors last season n the hardwood with one second-team member and two honorable mention picks.

Kelyn Pennie earned 2nd Team All Region XIV. Pennieled the Ponies in scoring at 14.9 PPG in conference. He finished the year averaging 14.5 PPG and also had a 3.5:1 Assist to Turnover Ratio in conference.

He made 86 3PFG’s at 42.9 percent and also shot 87.5 percent from the FT Line.

Kamari Brown, who was the only player who returned from last season, earned Honorable Mention All Region XIV honors.

Kamari finished the year averaging 11.5 PPG (12.9 in conference), 3.4 RPG (4.3 in conference), and also made 57 3PFG at 42.9 percent.

Jermain Drewey also earned Honorable Mention All Region XIV honors. Drewery averaged 13.1 PPG (12.5 in conference), 4.4 RPG, and made 63 3PFG’s on the year.

“It is an honor to have three guys earn Region XIV accolades,” Panola Coach Aaron Smith said. “These three all played a major role in our success and we could not be more proud of them!”
