CENTER — Cami Hicks had seven kills and a pair of blocks to help the Carthage Lady Bulldogs pick up another district win Tuesday on the road.

The No. 5 Lady Bulldogs swept Center 25-7, 25-11, 25-11 to improve to 29-4 for the season and 2-0 in District 20-4A.

They will play a non-district match at Pleasant Grove on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Faith Kruebbe also had a big game with five kills, five digs and six aces, while McKenna Zett also had five kills and Jada McLin and Kinsey King both had four.

Kristen Stewart had 15 assists, Sadie Smith had eight assists and two kills, Chesney Baker had seven digs and three aces and Addi Surratt had five digs.

Ladycats cruise past Garrison Lady Bulldogs

BECKVILLE — The No. 12 Ladycats had little trouble with Garrison Tuesday, pulling off a sweep and not letting the visitors do much scoring.

Beckville won 25-4, 25-7, 25-8 to improve to 24-13 for the season and stay unbeaten in District 20-2A with a 5-0 record.

Avery Morris had nine aces to lead the Ladycats along with four digs and a kill, while Miranda Mize had seven aces, four kills, two digs and a block.

Kinsley Rivers had five aces, six kills, two digs and an assist, while Lindsey Baker had five kills and a dig, Allison Baker had 13 assists, five digs, four kills and an ace and Sophie Elliott had eight assists, two digs and an ace.

In all, the Ladycats had 26 aces.

Beckville will host Timpson Friday in a 4:30 p.m. match.
