DALLAS-LeaSimone Chantelle Wall passed away, after a long struggle with Type I Diabetes, Friday, January 26, 2018, in her home Richardson, Texas. Lea was 26 years old; she was born on Super Bowl 26 January 26, 1992, at Good Shepherd Medical Center, Longview, Texas. Her parents are Louis Gaines, III, of Carthage, Texas and LaSaunda Wall-Harris, Longview/Dallas, Texas.
Funeral service for Ms. LeaSimone Wall will be Friday, February 2, 2018, 11:00 a.m., First Baptist Church of Hamilton Park, 300 E. Phillips St., Richardson, Texas; Final Resting Place, Laurel Land Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her seven year old daughter, Lauren Chanell Wall-Anthony; her parents, Louis Gaines, III and LaSaunda Wall-Harris; one brother, Deionte Wall; three sisters, LaJordan Wall, LaNeshia Wall and Cassandra Aguirre; maternal grandparents, Rev. James, Jr. and Lorryane Wall and Marion Wall; paternal grandparents, Wanda Gaines, Louis, Jr. and Benita Gaines; maternal great- grandparents, Rev. James, Sr. and Lee Wall; paternal great-grandmother, Myrtle Newman; aunts, Kenya Johnson, Debbie Whitlock, Kim Branch, Comineatha Bryant and Angela Reed; uncles, Courtney Reed (Kelly), Paul Gilbert (Claudia), Ersly Gaines, Di'ron (LaMonica) Gaines; and a host of great- uncles, aunts, one neice, four nephews, cousins, and friends.
LeaSimone graduated from Longview High School, May, 2010. She was an avid Lobo. Lea was blessed to give birth to a healthy and vibrant little girl Lauren C. Wall-Anthony. Defying all odds she enrolled in Kilgore College and later received her A.A. degree from Richland College, Richardson, Texas. At a young age after touring the U.S. Capitol it became her dream to become a lawyer and follow in the footsteps of Thurgood Marshall by becoming an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.
In lieu of flowers the Gaines Family has asked that donations be made to benefit accounts that have been opened for Lauren Wall-Anthony, at First State Bank & Trust, Carthage, Texas and Chase Bank (nationwide).
