A Panola County grand jury indicted 13 people on Oct. 31.

The following indictments were filed in the Panola County District Clerk’s Office:

  • Melvin Ray Lewing, of DeBerry, on a charge of sex offenders duty to register life/annually, stemming from an Aug. 19 incident
  • Germaine Jose Trusley, of Gary, on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, stemming from a Sept. 16 incident
  • Courtney Deshun Hooker, of Carthage, on two charges of assault of a public servant, stemming from Oct. 5 incidents
  • Virginia Sue Perrin, of Beckville, on a charge of unauthorized used of a vehicle, stemming from a July 27 incident
  • Trevor Kyle Malone, of Carthage, on a charge of assault of family/house member impeding breath/circulation, stemming from an Oct. 15 incident
  • Randall McCray Long, of Gary, on a charge of possession of controlled substance penalty group one, measuring between one and four grams, stemming from a Jan. 26 incident
  • Tiffany Dawn Davis, of Carthage, on a charge of possession of controlled substance penalty group one, measuring less than one gram, stemming from a Jan. 16 incident
  • Jeffery Lynn Wade, of Gary, on a charge of possession of controlled substance penalty group one, measuring between one and four grams, stemming from a Nov. 21, 2018 incident
  • Alan Joseph Hamilton, of Nacogdoches, on a charge of evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, stemming from a Sept. 14 incident
  • Kristie Kayla Ritter, of Carthage, on a charge of assault a public servant, stemming from a Sept. 22 incident
  • Josey Alaine Hayes, of DeBerry, on a charge of theft of a firearm, stemming from an Aug. 12 incident
  • Tynerio Marquis Williams, of Carthage, on a charge of theft of a firearm, stemming from an Aug. 12 incident
  • Sheena Ann Lingafelter, of DeBerry, on a charge of possession of controlled substance penalty group one, measuring between one and four grams, stemming from a Jan. 18 incident
