Saturday, May 1, 2021 were:

  • Elizabeth Perez, 54, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Jared Bailey pursuant to local warrants/grand jury indictment/cruelty non-livestock animal: kill/poison serious bodily injury, grand jury indictment/deadly conduct discharge firearm, speeding, failure to appear/speeding, no driver’s license (when unlicensed) (two counts), failure to appear/no driver’s license (when unlicensed) (two counts).
  • Douglas Ryan Hattaway, 35, by Carthage Police Department Officer Andrew Williamson for possession of controlled substance penalty group three measuring less than 28 grams.
  • Logan Jeffery Kelso Busbey, 21, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Torey McLemore for theft of firearm, and prohibited weapon.

Arrested Sunday, May 2, 2021 were:

  • Laderrius Deshun Adams, 21, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Randy Payne for terroristic threat cause fear of imminent serious bodily injury.
  • John Christopher Carper, 39, by Department of Public Safety Trooper Chance Commander for driving while intoxicated/open alcoholic container.
  • Garrick Odell Gibbs, 31, by Department of Public Safety Trooper David Tompkins for driving while intoxicated.

Arrested Monday, May 3, 2021 were:

  • Ravodney Antione Hardy, 23, by Carthage Police Department Officer Andrew Williamson for driving while intoxicated, unlawful carrying weapon.
  • Joshua Robert Jones, 18, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Robert Duncan pursuant to out of county warrant/sexual assault child (two counts), sexual assault, prohibited sexual conduct.
  • Owen Curtis Waxler, 34, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Ronnie Endsley pursuant to local warrant/ grand jury indictment/abandon endanger child imminent danger bodily injury.
  • Willie Lee Taylor Jr., 36, by Panola County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Ronnie Endsley pursuant to local warrant/grand jury indictment/theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000, pursuant to local warrant/issuance of bad check.
  • Jeffrey Allen Briggs, 35, by Department of Public Safety Trooper Kaleb Bullock for driving while intoxicated blood alcohol content above or equal to 0.15.
