Panola College drama earned 35 awards for their performance of The Arsonists last week at the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Texas State Festival.

Panola College drama earned 35 awards for their performance of The Arsonists last week at the Kennedy Center’s American College Theatre Texas State Festival.

Following a two-year hiatus, the festival took place at Panola College from Nov. 8 to 11, featuring performances from five colleges.

Panola College’s awards included director’s choice, with The Arsonists being held for regional consideration, and nine Irene Ryan Acting Nominations, for Dylan Essery, Dawson Windham, Scott Eddins, Jessica Bailey, Donovan Williams, Jacob Phillips, Sarolyn Musick, Taylor Alexander and Autumn Stewart.

The group earned 10 Meritorious Achievement Awards: Anna Rosenbaum — Dramaturgy; Estrella Villanueva — Lighting and Projection Design; Dawson Windham — Set Design/Technical Direction; Scott Eddins — Sound Design; Jessica Bailey — Directing; Kady Matthew — Stage Management; Dylan Essery — Invited Scene; Jessica Bailey — Invited Scene; and Karen King — Invited Scene.

15 KCACTF Recognition Awards for Festival Production were also given to

Jessica Bailey, Kady Matthews, Dawson Windham, Donovan Williams, Jacob Phillips, Caleb Ridgeway, Cason Grimaldo, Jared Jackson, Katelyn Guerroro, Haven Hieman, Estrella Villanueva, Andrea Rosenbaum, Evelyn Boles, Chelsey Caldwell and Sarolyn Musick.
