A DeBerry woman was arrested Tuesday on federal drug trafficking charges, records show.

Amanda Rae Williams, 32, was arrested by the Panola County Sheriff’s Office Sunday on a U.S. Marshal warrant. Williams is charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and distribution of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and two counts of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime.

An arraignment hearing is set next Tuesday in Tyler.

Specific details on the allegations against Williams have not yet been unsealed. Federal court records indicate Williams has been charged with at least one other person who has not yet been arrested because the case is still listed as USA v. SEALED.

The case was filed Nov. 20.
