The Sammy Brown Library held it’s first lunch time book talk on Oct. 22
The group reviewed “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. Participants brought their own brown bag lunch while the library provided drinks, desserts and some door prizes.
Karen Stanley gave a synopsis and led the group discussion concerning the twists and turns in the plot. This novel combines love, heartache, and mystery set in the marshlands of the North Carolina coast. The book has been on the New York Times Bestseller list for 58 weeks.
