Dianne Attaway was recognized Monday for 20 years of service as site manager at the Carthage Heights Apartments.

Attaway and others gathered at the Jalepeño Tree, where Attaway was gifted with a plaque, cake and flowers.

“It’s very rewarding,” she said. “I’ve met a lot of people that have just really touched me and have been good and it’s just a real rewarding job. ... (being recognized) means a lot to me. This is my very first job ever. I hired on 20 years ago after a divorce, and I’d never worked before. And that’s where I started and that’s where I’ve been.”
