Ladycats go down in final game to Harleton

Feb. 10, 2018 at 11:05 a.m.

The Beckville Ladycats did everything they could to come out with a victory against the Harleton Lady-Wildcats, but everything was just not enough. The Lady-Cats started off slow in the first period only putting up 2 points and they would trail 27-13 at the Half. In the second half Beckville would catch fire putting up 19 in the 3rd quarter and 13 in the 4th quarter. However, that would not be enough to erase the 1st half deficit. Harleton would hang on for the 51-45 win.

The Lady-Cats out rebounded Harleton 43-36, and they had one fewer turnover. The difference in the game was Beckville was 0-7 from beyond the arc. Beckville has struggled shooting the ball from the outside all season and Tuesday night wouldn't be any different.

Jordan Tondreau was on fire for Beckville putting up 21 points, to go along with 8 rebounds, and 6 steals. Ashley Andrus would have 8 points, and Payton Jones would have 7.

Beckville Finishes their season 8-22. The Ladycats will look to build on next season with several players returning.
