Ladycats go down at the Hands of McLeod 47-26

Union Grove TX- The Beckville Ladycats struggled on the offensive side of the ball and fall to McLeod 47-26. Despite out rebounding the Lady Longhorns 41-30 Beckville was unable to get their offense going.

Beckville was 12-56 from the field, 0-6 for beyond the arc and was only 2-8 from the free throw line. McLeod on the other hand was lights out hitting 6-11 from downtown and 5-11 from the line. They would hit 33% of their shots from the field.

Although Beckville cut their turnovers down from previous games they still had 17, while McLeod only had 10. Jordan Tondreau the leading scorer for the Bearcats all season, had 16 points on 8-19 shooting. She also had 14 rebounds, 1 steal, 4 blocks, and 1 assists.

Miranda Mize had 4 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Kenzi Latham 3 points, 1 rebound, Brandi Tillman 2 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assists. Payton Jones added 1 point, 2 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks, and 3 assists. Hannah Humphries, Caroline Pepper, Heather Searcy combined for 11 rebounds.

The lose drops Beckville below .500 on the season (4-5). Next up the Ladycats will face Quitman Saturday (12/02) at 2:00.
