The City of Carthage announces the retirement of Robert Bostick, effective July 28, 2017. The City would like to thank "Boz" for his 17 years of dedication and service to the community.
Boz's first plan of action is to tackle a "honey-do" list of projects that his wife, Roxie, has prepared for him. When that is complete, he and Roxie plan to visit the grandbabies who are scattered across the country.
Boz appreciates everything the City has done form him.
"Working for the City has been a good experience and I've enjoyed working with all the guys. As I've gotten older, they have taken good care of me," he said.
Sherry Cockerham, Public Works Administrator, says "Boz has been a pleasure to work with. He is one of my favorites...always a hard worker, reliable and also a good friend."
