Piano students studying under Elizabeth Morris hosted a Christmas recital at First United Methodist Church on Dec. 15.

The program began with Bryson Richey performing “Mary Had a Little Lamb” by Bastein and “Jingle Bells.” Darby Banister followed with “Five Hunting Hounds” by Bastein and “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” by Anonymous.

Olivia Lipsey played “Tarantella” by Bastein and “What Child Is This?” by Old English Air, based on “Greensleeves.”

Bryson also performed “Old McDonald” by Bastein, while Darby also played “Boogie Beat” and “Indian Drums,” both by Bastein.

Olivia finished by playing “Lullaby (Duet)” by David Carr Glover and “Olympic Games” by Bastein.

Travis Lipsey served as the guest performer. He played “We Three Kings” and “Jingle Bells” on his guitar.

A reception followed the recital in the church’s foyer.
