The Texas Preceptor Epsilon Tau chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority met Monday, Nov. 18 at the home of Linda and Larry Howard.

Hostesses for the meeting were Linda Howard, Gayla LaGrone and Barbara Ballenger. We were totally immersed in beautiful decorations of fall foliage and decor of pumpkins, turkeys and reminders of the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. The meal consisted of pork roast, carrots, broccoli salad, scalloped potatoes and dinner rolls. Various desserts included coconut cake, apricot fried pies, pumpkin mousse and gluten-free desserts. Feasting has gotten a great start!

Frances Moore opened the meeting and led the ritual, followed by the different committee reports. Linda Howard presented a program on “Tips for Dry Skin Care” and had drawings for skin care products relating to the tips. The hostess gift was presented to Jean Bunyard, and the coveted “Beta Bird” was presented to Patricia Cooley. Our secret gifts were exchanged, and gifts were acknowledged. Money was collected for the Christmas Blessings program in the amount of $798 and will be presented.

Other members present were Chris Blair, Jean Bunyard, Patricia Cooley, Sandy Griffin, Judy Holder, Sharon Ivey, Debbie Jernigan, Vicki Jones, Frances Moore, Sandy Payne, JoNell Phillips, Patricia Smith, Wynell Steptoe and Linda Walkoviak.
