Let it Snow!
We got a lot of snow Sunday and Monday.
Preliminary snowfall amounts for Jan. 10-11 from the National Weather Service show Carthage recorded 4.5 inches of snow. Gary recorded 5 inches of snow, while Logansport got 5.7 inches and DeBerry got 2.6 inches of snow.
"Snowfall totals generally range between 2 and 4 inches for most locations south of a line from Winfield, TX to Strong, AR," the NWS said. "The heaviest totals of 4-6 inches occurred in a swath across East Texas and extreme Western Louisiana south of I-20, roughly from Tyler, to Carthage, to Mansfield, to Zwolle, to San Augustine, to Nacogdoches, to Alto."
