Panola-Harrison Electric Cooperative says it will conduct a planned outage in the Gill, Elysian Fields, DeBerry and Deadwood areas early Saturday, June 27.

The outage, expected to last up to two hours, is so that needed repairs can be made to a transmission tower, the company said.

The company said the Gill area will be fed power shortly after the initial outage, but other areas would see longer outages depending on how long it takes to do the repair.

"We apologize to our members for this disruption in service, but it is necessary for the continued long-term reliability of our transmission system," the company said. "Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding during this planned outage."
