Panola County Judge LeeAnn Jones reported on Wednesday 11 additional COVID-19 cases and four recoveries since the last update.

The number of active cases is 30, Jones said, and the county’s cumulative total is 344.

Panola County’s mask exemption was revoked after the number of active cases rose above 20 in accordance with Gov. Gregg Abbott’s mandate.

The additional COVID-19 cases include a 58 year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, a 72-year-old woman, a 42-year-old man, 50-year-old woman, an 88-year-old man, a 56-year-old man, a 44-year-old woman, a 17-year-old woman and a 59-year-old man.

Recoveries include a 74-year-old woman, a 50-year-old woman, a 58-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman.
