Panola County schools are not holding physical classes through April 3, but districts are still providing free meals to students.
Beckville ISD will have grab and go lunches for any child 18 years or younger beginning Tuesday, March 24. Hours will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and lunches can be picked up through a drive-thru at Beckville Sunset Elementary School, 4378 Texas 149 in Beckville.

Cold breakfast and hot lunches will be available each day the district is out of school beginning Tuesday, March 24. Meals are free to all Gary ISD students. Families should pull up their car to the cafeteria between 10 and 11:30 a.m., give their students’ names and wait for someone to bring the meals out to their car.
Families who live in the district but cannot make it to campus are asked to call the administration office at (903) 685-2291 or send an email to their campus principal to arrange for home delivery.
Elysian Fields ISD
Elysian Fields ISD is offering two options for meals provided between Tuesday, March 24 and Thursday, March 26. During the deliveries, two breakfasts and two lunches will be provided for each child.
Option 1: Tuesday and Thursday, bus drivers and monitors will run their normal bus routes and make deliveries between 10 a.m. and noon. Students should go to their bus stop and pick up the meals.
Option 2: Tuesday and Thursday, parents may pick up meals from Elysian Fields High School between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Meals will be provided in a grab and go style outside the high school under the covered walkway where buses pick up and drop off students. Families will not be able to enter the campus or get out of their cars.
The school district is also asking parents to complete a meal delivery survey on its website at efisd.net.
- Tuesday meals will be a breakfast of cereal and milk and a breakfast of a muffin. Lunch meals are uncrustable sandwich, with cheese sticks and doritos, and then a grilled cheese sandwich with chips, carrots and an apple.
- Thursday’s breakfasts are cereal and milk and then a muffin. Lunches are a turkey and cheese sandwich with goldfish crackers and a banana, and then jammies with cheese sticks and doritos.
The district will offer grab and go meals and meal delivery beginning Monday, March 23. The meals are free and available to any student or community child 18 or under and to students with disabilities without regard to age.
Breakfast/lunch grab and goal meals will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. at only Libby Elementary School; CHS will not be serving meals. Children must be present to receive grab and go meals. To pick up the meals, drive through the bus ramp at Libby Elementary.
Breakfast/lunch meals will also be delivered by school buses from 9 to 11 a.m. on the district’s normal routes. Students can wait at their regular bus stop. Buses will be delivering both breakfast and lunch at the same time.
