Carthage ISD is asking its families to take a short online survey about their food and technology needs in light of the school's COVID-19 closure.
The survey will help the district determine how much food to provide and what technology support each student has at their home.
The survey is available at this link.
Carthage ISD is currently closed through March 27, and the district said decisions on subsequent closures will be made on the Thursday of each week.
The district will offer grab and go meals and meal delivery beginning Monday, March 23. The meals are free and available to any student or community child 18 or under and to students with disabilities without regard to age.
Breakfast/lunch grab and goal meals will be available from 9 to 11 a.m. at Carthage High School and the Libby Elementary School. For the Carthage High School location, go to the bus ramp by the cafeteria and gym. For the Libby Elementary School location, drive through the bus ramp.
Breakfast/lunch meals will also be delivered by school buses from 9 to 11 a.m. on the district's normal routes. Students can wait at their regular bus stop. Buses will be delivering both breakfast and lunch at the same time.
