Central Baptist Church in Carthage hosted a drive-in Easter Sunday service on April 12 at Carthage High School. Severe weather had the service postponed until 6 p.m. that night, but the weather didn't dampen the church's congregation. Several dozen cars filled one of the high school's parking lots to watch Pastor Monty Pierce preach and listen to his words on their cars' stereos via KGAS Radio, honking their horns in place of "Amens!" during his sermon.
